Moving Hacks To Simplify Your Move

moving hacks

As your moving date approaches thinking about packing up for your move can start to feel a little overwhelming. That is why we tracked down a bunch of great moving hacks that will make packing for your move a breeze.

Top 7 easy moving hacks:

Slide clothes on hangars right into garbage bags

This is one of my favorite all time moving hacks. It is super fast and easy as well as convenient. This makes packing and unpacking a breeze.

Cotton balls in your makeup compacts

If you are concerned that your compacts will break during the move, put some cotton balls in them. This will protect the glass and the makeup so that you don’t have to worry. Cuts down on the mess as well.

Wrap cords around toilet paper rolls

This is a handy trick to keep your cords from becoming tangled. Just use an old toilet paper roll and curl the cords around them. Easy as pie!

Wrap dishes in shirts

Why get your hands all dirty using paper when you can use nice, clean shirts to wrap your dishes? This will give them the cushion they need to keep from breaking during transport.

Put bottles of liquid in Ziploc bags

Putting any bottles of liquid into sealable bags means no mess even if they do explode.

Color code your boxes according to where they will go

This will make unpacking a lot less stressful. Just make sure you write down what color goes where so you don’t forget!

Cut handles into regular boxes for easy handling

This is another one of my favorite moving hacks. It is so simple and cheap and makes a world of difference.

Use these moving hacks and you will find the process goes a lot smoother. No one should have to work harder than they need to.
